Amy Hammond, BSc CEnv MIEMA

Amy founded Lantern in response to a common problem organisations face when pursuing sustainability objectives – poor project delivery. Projects start out with excellent sustainability goals but fail to deliver impact for their stakeholders. Amy wanted to offer brilliant project delivery to enable sustainability projects to achieve their goals, on time and in budget.

Amy’s experience includes developing and successfully implementing an award-winning timber programme for B&Q, authoring national and regional strategies and action plans for the Forestry Commission, advising property developers in China on how to lower the impact of their operations and leading behaviour change programmes and corporate sustainability programmes for Tate, Yeo Valley, Tesco and Walkers.

Working in South West China as Deputy Director of BioRegional China, Amy advised municipal authorities and developers on Eco-city policy and mixed-use development projects. Amy also managed a UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office project to develop low carbon real estate models and Eco-city policy for a Chinese municipality.

A Full Member of the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment and Chartered Environmentalist, Amy’s international portfolio has included projects in Australia, South Africa, Germany, Morocco and China.

Amy brings a wealth of UK and International management experience to her work. As an energy and sustainability consultant she has delivered innovative solutions to both public and private sector clients.
