Assessing Energy Company Obligation (ECO) opportunities for a housing association

 

With plans to undertake an extensive programme of insulation measures across their property portfolio, Estuary Housing Association asked Lantern to assess opportunities for obtaining funding under the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) programme.

 

Based on research and industry discussions specific to Estuary’s building stock and plans, Lantern prepared a detailed short list of opportunities for Estuary’s consideration. Information provided included details of different models for financing and installing the improvements, timescales involved, energy efficiency measures available, costs and benefits.

 

Lantern also advised on the next steps towards commissioning the programme of works to enable Estuary to move forward with their plans.
